Pawan fans put pressure on Dil Raju

Producer Dil Raju is in fix and under tremendous pressure from power star fans. Dil Raju who is currently producing Parugu with Allu Arjun plans to release the film by this month end. But Pawan Kalyan fans are requesting him to postpone the film to May. As Pawan's Jalsa released recently, they want Parugu not to compete with this.
"We are asking him to put on hold at least till Jalsa completes 50 days run," said a fan.
That means Dil Raju has to postpone the movie till mid May if he succumbs to the pressure.
The film which has been getting delayed for long time for various reasons now gets another dilemma

'Kantri' to hit theatres in May!

The 'Kantri' team is like a live beehive, completely busy and gearing up for a May release.
This film features NTR Jr. as the main man and Hansika and Tanuja as the heroines. As we are writing this news some very important scenes are being panned at Hyderabad.
A song on the hero and Hansika will be shot finally. A grand set is being erected for shooting this song at the Ramoji film city in Hyderabad.
The music of 'Kantri' was released a few days back and is receiving very positive reviews and feedback from all circles. There is a song in this film that has been crooned by the hero himself.
Ashwini Dutt is producing this film with Meher Ramesh on the director's chair. The film will be released under Vaijayanthi Movies banner.
Mani Sharma has lent his musical touch to this film. So with 'Kantri' releasing all over during the vacation time let us hope that this film entertains the youth as well as the family audience and makes a big show at the box office.
Here's wishing the team of 'Kantri' good luck!

Jalsa is rocking the box office. It grossed more than 21 crores in the first week. Every one anticipated that Jalsa would rock but only waited to see the range. As every one spoke on the Jalsa audio release day - if Pawan can give out an average film, it would rock the box office. What if the film is proved hit? Sky is the limit for the records. That is what is happening now. Producer Allu Aravind is very happy that they delivered yet another film that is proving the stamina of Telugu film industry. Talking about the same, Allu Aravind said, 'We know the film is coming out great and we wanted to take the range of the film to a different level; the release of the film is planned that way. 1.17 Crore audience saw the film and it collected a gross of 21 crores in first week. I would say that the film proved the stamina of the Telugu film industry rather than saying that my film created records. The same feel is going even overseas. It released with 45 prints in overseas and is creating all new records. There is a Boxoffice analysis community known as Boxoffice Mojo. They provide ratings to the films based on the box office stamina. For the first time, they listed a Telugu movie in their ratings. And I am very proud that it happened to be Jalsa. It got 9th Place in the ratings'. Earlier Tamil version of Sivaji got rating in the Mojo and it stood at 15th place.

South Africa remove Indian openers early

Kanpur: Having bowled out South Africa by the end of the first day's play, India will be looking to cease the initiative with a healthy lead when they come out to bat on Saturday.
It wasn't exactly a see-saw battle on day one of the third and final Test but more of South Africa having India on the mat and then throwing it away. India bowled out South Africa for 265 just before stumps at the Green Park stadium here on Friday.
Considering the ominous signs India were subject to at the start of play, MS Dhoni will be relatively happy with his first day at office as India’s Test captain. India took one wicket in the first session, three in the second and six in the last to end the South African innings in 87.3 overs. Ishant Sharma and Harbhajan Singh took three wickets each.
Even before play began, India suffered two major blows. First, skipper Anil Kumble, the home side’s most experienced and successful bowler was ruled out. And then, stand-in captain Dhoni, who became the first wicketkeeper to lead an Indian Test side, lost the crucial toss and India had to field, which meant would bat last on a languished pitch that would disintegrate faster than the Indian top order had in Ahmedabad.
South Africa got off to a confident start on a pitch, which fortunately for them did not throw too many demons in the beginning. But the Proteas were unable to capitalise as none of their batsmen converted their starts to big scores. Skipper Graeme Smith top scored with 69 and Hashim Amla notched up a half-century.

SA win by an innings and 90 runs

Ahmedabad: With two days left in the second Test of the Future Cup Series at the Sardar Patel Stadium here, there was no way India could have avoided a defeat against South Africa. What they could do, however, was reduce the margin from humiliation to just an embarrassment.
It ended just that way, as the Proteas sealed their domination over the hosts by an innings and 90 runs, which also meant they can't lose the series.
India's innings closed on a brave 328, maybe mulling over what could have been had the batsmen survived even an hour of that ghastly opening session on the first day, when they folded up for 76.
While India receded to easily their lowest ebb in recent memory, South Africa made an emphatic statement on who is the second best team at the moment, purely on form. They did nothing wrong. Nothing went right for India.
South Africa's march towards batting the hosts out of the match was all but accomplished as rains lashed the Motera surface here on Friday, surely to liven things up for the third morning.
Captain Graeme Smith chose to declare as India prepared to face the music once again.
Two sixes from Virender Sehwag in the opening over of India's second innings almost ensured that it wasn't going to be the first innings story retold. Well, almost.
Dale Steyn, the chief wrecker of India's horrific first outing at the Motera here, was hooked, and then flicked over the long leg boundary, after South Africa declared their innings on their overnight 494-7, scripted by AB de Villiers' unbeaten 217 and a majestic century from Jacques Kallis.
In a game which India were chasing ever since it started, the second session was their first, and only, victory. After being 95-3 at lunch, India fought back with Sourav Ganguly and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who scripted an unlikely fightback for the hosts.

It was India's finest hour in a match full of nightmares. Ganguly was in supreme command, getting firmly behind the rising ball and dropping it down, and meeting the fuller ones with rasping drives. Dhoni, who lived dangerously in the early part of his innings, gained in confidence, defending like he never did before.
Time, a true reflection of five-day cricket, though, was India's biggest enemy. A wicket had to come and it was Ganguly, who nicked one to the wicketkeeper off Steyn after scoring 87. He knew he had nicked it, but tried his best to convince umpire Tony Hill his bat had hit the ground, perhaps in disbelief that a miracle was not to be.
Dhoni stroked a valiant 52 before Ntini snapped him up, while Irfan Pathan remained unbeaten for the second time in the match with 43.
For South Africa, the batsmen made sure that the match was beyond reach for the Indians, to back up a bowling attack full of relentless energy. Steyn finished with eight wickets in the game, while Makhaya Ntini finished it off with his third, ably assisted by Morne Morkel with two wickets in each innings.
The Proteas had exacted revenge on their own ignominy, when they were at the receiving end of a similar defeat at home in 2006-07, when they were shot out for 84 in Johannesburg.
Sehwag, who took first strike, was surprisingly in control. He was content with leaving whatever was bowled wide of the stumps, and knock it around for runs when bowled to him. But Ntini brought an end to his short stay, trapping him leg before.
Jaffer and Rahul Dravid then dropped anchor, something that none of the batsmen were keen to do in that 20-over nightmare on Thursday. They saw off Steyn wicketless, while Morkel cranked up the speed-o-meter, forever pushing the two back into the crease.
The danger of India being subject to similar treatment they received in the first innings, though, began to lurk yet again. In the space of six runs, both Dravid (17) and Jaffer (19) departed to identical dismissals to Morkel and Kallis, the first time a fourth bowler was required by the Proteas in the game.
