pawan's puli shoot delayed

Pawan Kalyan's new film Puli was scheduled to begin its regular shooting in a few days but now the schedule has gone haywire. The film’s director S J Surya injured during a shooting for his Tamil movie in which he acts. While shooting for an action sequence on Saturday (June 14th) he met with accident and sustained injuries. He was immediately admitted in a hospital and the doctors advised him to take at least 15 days bed rest. That means he can’t come for the shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s Puli.
As per the original plan, Surya has to shoot a huge action sequence on Pawan Kalyan and some 400 junior artistes. Now, the shoot is postponed to next month.
Pawan Kalyan plays dual role in it and one of the roles is a Police Commissioner. Hansika is playing the main heroine.

Amitabh put me in lock-up: RGV
Ram Gopal Varma said he is feeling proud to be here with this film. “I was born and brought up here at this Punjagutta circle. Now I am here with a big hit. Just opposite this theatre, I was locked up in the Punjagutta Police Station for one day. The charge was that I was renting ‘pirated’ video cassettes of Amitabh starrer Aakhri Raasta.. I was running video library then. It is a proud moment for me now directing a big hit starring Amitabh. Power is achieving what you desired or dreamt of,” Ram Gopal Varma said.
‘Sarkar Raj is ground breaking film’
Amitabh praised RGV for reaching to what he is today by making films that he believes in. “He made a humble beginning and went on to make ground breaking films. Sarkar Raj is belongs to a genre that was considered to be ‘non-commercial’. Ram Gopal Varma proved that these kind of films too work at box-office,” Big B praised.
“We are often criticized for making escapist movies with song and romance. Although now West is accepting our diversity and started understanding our films, there are also filmmakers like RGV who are making realistic movies sans songs and romance. Sarkar Raj doesn’t have them, yet it broke the records. We are more than happy that the film is extremely doing well in UK, USA and other overseas where such films never had good run,” Amitabh added.
The prank that I played..: Abhishek
Abhishek Bachchan agreed that he plays pranks on the sets. Reacting to a query, he informed that the big prank that he did on the sets of Sarkar Raj was that he made believe them that he could act. “I put up a serious face all the time and duped them that I could act,” he said jokingly.
Aishwarya Rai on her hubby and father-in-law
When asked to compare her hubby and her father-in-law, Aishwarya said: “It is a tough to compare them. I had worked with them before marriage and they are great actors to work with. Off screen too, they are great human beings. It’s pleasure working with Amitabh. Abishekh and I had blast working together and hope to do more films all of us together. "

Hansika opposite Pawan Kalyan in ‘Puli’

he girl with chubby cheeks, Hansika Motwani, made her debut into the Telugu film industry through ‘Desamuduru’ opposite Allu Arjun. After taking considerable gap, she played the female lead in ‘Kantri’ with NTR as hero. Now, according to sources in Film Nagar, she got a lifetime opportunity to play heroine to Power Star Pawan Kalyan in ‘Puli’. It is worth mentioning here that ‘Puli’ directed by SJ Surya and produced by Singanamala Ramesh on the banner of Kanakaratna Creations, is likely to start rolling from June 20.
The director and producer tried to rope in Priyanka Chopra or Kareena Kapoor in the female lead. However, they expressed their inability saying that they were busy with their Bollywood films. Finally, the opportunity knocked the doors of Hansika. The film will have music from AR Rehman while camera will be held by Vinod.

India crush Pakistan by huge 140-run margin

Dhaka: Praveen Kumar ran through the top-order as Paksitan, chasing a near-impossible 331 for a win, surrendered virtually without a fight to be dismissed for 190 in the tri-series contest at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium here, handing India a huge 140-run win.
Praveen returned figure of 4-53 as the top four batsmen fell to him, and Pakistan were virtually out of the contest by the end of the fifth over when they batted.
Pakistan lost three wickets with next to nothing on the scoreboard, and were never in the game after that.
Praveen Kumar removed Salman Butt, Younis Khan and Mohd Yousuf in rapid succession, and then Kamran Akmal also fell to him after using the long handle for a while.
Once Misbah-ul-Haq also departed, edging Ishant Sharma to skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the match was effectively over, as the slower bowlers led by Piyush Chawla (4-40) then wrapped up the rest of the batting.
Skipper Shoaib Malik scored a half-century, but was never convincing.
Earlier, Virender Sehwag (89) and Gautam Gambhir (62) put up 155 runs for the opening wicket as India finished at 330-8.
Yuvraj Singh also contributed 55 while Dhoni and Suresh Raina chipped in to add to the total, as the Paksitanis came up with one of their worst bowling performances in the recent years.
Umar Gul picked up three wickets but went for 61 runs, while the rest of the bowling ranged between the unimaginative and the pathetic.

Some attacking batting by the Indians, combined with some pathetic bowling and equally ridiculous captaincy by Malik saw India rattle up a potentially match-winning 330-8 in their tri-series game after Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat.
The only man not to get going was Yusuf Pathan, who made his One-day International debut.
The Pakistani bowlers completely lost their poise as the Indians went after them from the beginning of the innings. The fielding side was completely demoralised as the bowlers bowled all over -- short, wide and overpitched.
The lowest ebb came after left-arm seamer Wahab Riaz was ordered out of the attack by the umpires after he bowled two beamers.
Malik, in his wisdom, threw the ball to strike bowler Sohail Tanvir, ensuring that the IPL hero gets to bowl only 9.4 of his 10-over quota. Ultimately, it was left to Younis Khan to bowl the last over.
This was India's first game of the series, while Pakistan had already registered a 70-run win over hosts Bangladesh on Sunday.
